Until February 14 no time to visit the retrospective of the artist Marta Minujín Argentina, which is discussed in the Malba since November last year. The exhibition comprises over 100 works that focus on historical production of the 60, 70 and 80. The exhibition invites visitors to delve into the works and actions more and lesser known artist, made both in Buenos Aires and Paris and New York, among other cities. "The main objective of this exhibition is to bring the public the complexity and coherence, and critical density of a work we know little, and emphasize its contemporary relevance," says Victoria Noorthoorn, the curator.

The exhibition is organized roughly chronologically and shows the artist in dialogue with their time, with events that occurred at the various stages of production and arts communities with which it interacts, both in Argentina and worldwide. Realizes how the always provocative responded Minujín production from a first time, a decade of continuous transformations, the 60 - which saw the birth and development of the New Realism, Pop, conceptual art, art performance, happenings, media art, video art, psychedelia and art action and, in turn, transit periods of dictatorship and violence at the national and global situations as paradigmatic as the Vietnam War or the trip to the moon.

conjunction with the exhibition , Malba released a major publication of 300 pages with color reproduction of the works represented in the sample.
