REC Festival is a joint project of the Faculty of Fine Arts at the UNLP and the Teatro Argentino de La Plata. Made for the purpose of raising awareness of the audiovisual production of students, graduates and teachers of different races of Film and Audiovisual Arts of state public institutions, is a meeting of the instances of artistic and academic research.
Argentina, by having a free public education system quality, welcoming students from around the world. The unrestricted income, the mass studied, the presence of a strong general education, make a particular profile which affects the performative possibilities of students, graduates and teachers. REC is an opportunity where you raise and discuss points of interest and common development, framed in a competition among peers and equal, knowing the effort it takes for students and to those public institutions to perform each audiovisual work.
The city of La Plata has a long cultural tradition and university. The Faculty of Fine Arts is the largest faculty of arts in Latin America, with over 10,000 undergraduate and graduate students of various artistic disciplines. In her study about 1500 students in the career of Audiovisual Arts, heir to the first race of Cinema University, founded in 1956 by Candido Moneo Sanz.
As for the Teatro Argentino de La Plata, is one of the largest institutions devoted to culture in Argentina. Develops various artistic activities related to music, theater and dance, in addition to having hosted a great show of national and foreign artists.
Registration began Feb. 7 and extend to March 31. The categories are Audiovisual Samples and Photographs. To participate you must complete the registration form: AUDIOVISUAL , SAMPLES and / or PHOTOGRAPHS .
