19/04/2011- Tomorrow begins the 37 th edition of the International Book Fair. From 20 / 4 through 9 / 5 in La Rural ( directions).
Book Fair of Buenos Aires is the largest of its kind in the English speaking world. Considered one of the most important cultural events of Latin America, is a meeting place for authors, publishers, booksellers, distributors, educators, librarians, scientists and more than 1,200,000 readers around the world.
On this occasion, The Book Foundation, organizer of the event, ordered a stand for the National Network of Cultural Magazines. The same will be located in Hall Yellow Calle 16, Stand No. 2544.
The National Network of Cultural Journals is a space created in 2010 to strengthen independent publishing, coordinate joint actions and linking experiences. Calls to these initiatives publishers are removed from value added tax (VAT), a share in government advertising and public media outreach, among other measures. The Network is composed of magazines like The Pulse , La Vaca - MU , Barcelona , El Amante Cine, THC, outbursts, Artexte, Lilith, The Tangauta and several others.
